THE LINES
The Lines are a four-piece indie rock band from Wolverhampton who have achieved various support slots between 2005-2008 which have included Editors, The Maccabees, The Twang, The Charlatans, Babyshambles, and Jack Penate and been played on Steve Lamacq's BBC Radio One show. They have built up a large following in the Wolverhampton City music scene and have recently been tipped for big things by numerous industry insiders, having lately gained some very positive press coverage.

THE SHALLOW CALL
The Shallow Call are an indie rock band from Northwich who have been chosen from over 2000 entries as one of the final 14 bands in this years 'Road To V' competition. The show filmed by Channel 4 at the Liverpool Carling Academy will air in mid June. Their new single 'Where We All Hang Around' has now been released with 'Favourite Bit on the Side' on the b-side.

Slummin Angels are a are a young, promising, trio from East London with sisters Jennifer and Katherine fronting the band. Their energetic live performances and loud indie tunes have been compared to the likes of The Subways & The Pixies. JOYCE
Joyce, based in the north west of England, combine their influences into a mix of indie music and electro songs. They've spent the last 3 months recording and rehearsing in the studio and now are returning to playing live. You can catch them at them at the official Whitchurch Weekender pub, The Red Lyon, on Saturday 5th July @ 2pm.
TWO BASE HIT
Two Base Hit are a local acoustic duo, favourites of Whitchurch, who came about after Jamie Griffiths and Matt Parkes did a one off gig in a local pub late 2006. After much practice and finding the right material they started gigging in mid 2007.
WHOOPS APOCALYPSE
Whoops Apocalypse are a quirky local rap/punk/electro duo from Whitchurch and Wrexham who have beats so funky they'll have you 'shaking it like a monkey to the jungle beat'. They have to be heard to be believed!
THE SEEN
The Seen are a five piece band influenced by many artists and styles of music. They have been playing individually for many years on various projects but first came together in 2008 to form their strongest line up yet as The Seen. They are writing and performing their own material as well as performing a comprehensive list of cover material.
